  1. 1Open this link in Safari (not Chrome) and sign in to your account.
  2. 2Tap the Share button (square with an up arrow) at the bottom of the screen.
  3. 3Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. 4Tap Add — the CareShiftLTC icon now appears on your home screen.

  1. 1Open this link in Chrome and sign in to your account.
  2. 2Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
  3. 3Tap “Add to Home screen” or “Install app”.
  4. 4Tap Add / Install — the CareShiftLTC icon appears on your home screen.

💡 Tip

Once installed, the app opens full-screen with no browser bar — just like a native app. You’ll still sign in the same way, and your session stays active between opens.

Turn on push notifications

Get alerts for new shift posts, messages and approvals — even when your screen is locked.

iPhone / iPad

  1. 1Install the app to your home screen first (steps above), then open it from the home screen icon.
  2. 2Go to Notifications and tap Enable push notifications.
  3. 3When iOS asks, tap Allow. You’re set — alerts will reach your lock screen.

If you don’t see the prompt, open Settings → CareShiftLTC → Notifications and switch on Allow Notifications.

Android

  1. 1Install the app (steps above), then open it from the home screen icon.
  2. 2Go to Notifications and tap Enable push notifications.
  3. 3When Chrome asks, tap Allow. Alerts will now reach your phone.

To change this later: Settings → Apps → CareShiftLTC → Notifications.
